New rental option at Zevenwacht Lifestyle Estate brings luxury retirement lifestyle within reach
Zevenwacht Lifestyle Estate, designed for those over 50, is being co-developed by MSP Developments, Zevenwacht Wine Estate and Old Mutual. Located on the award-winning Zevenwacht Wine Estate on the Stellenbosch Wine Route, this lifestyle estate is ideally situated near amenities including golf courses, hospitals and shopping centres.
It offers a range of accommodation options, from ready-built freestanding lifestyle homes to plot and plan designer homes, and independent living apartments. It has now added the option of luxury suites for rental from only R8000 per month, which includes the levy and all meals.
Says MSP Developments CEO Riaan Roos: “We have on offer just 15 remaining luxury suites that a retiree can rent at the very affordable monthly amount of only R8000. This includes the monthly services levy and all daily meals as well as a weekly cleaning service. Laundry is paid separately. This equates to just R267 per day, to stay in a luxury environment in an amazing setting. We want to make people aware of this hidden gem and what is on offer for a few lucky retirees. This is truly exceptional value for money. The picturesque setting is an added bonus.”
The luxury suites are conveniently located in the community centre, which also hosts Zevenwacht Lifestyle Estate’s coffee shop and dining area.
They are semi-furnished and all suites include a television (with an additional DStv option available), built-in cupboards, a desk and a bathroom with a wheelchair-friendly shower, and are spacious at between 29 m2 and 42 m2. A compulsory health assessment is required before the rental units may be occupied.
Roos continues: “In terms of completed properties for sale, there are 21 move-in-ready apartments available, priced at R994 900. We still have a few completed homes, starting at R1 995 000.
These are definitely the most value-for-money offerings currently in the retirement sector in the Northern Suburbs. The designer homes range from R2 599 900 to R5 179 900.
The apartments are all 47 m2 in size and the homes range from 112 m2 to 230 m2. The average plot size within the estate is 500 m2.”
The independent living apartments have been designed with practicality and convenience in mind, with high-quality finishes. Each unit has an allocated covered parking bay and is fitted with a solar geyser.
Freestanding homes at Zevenwacht Lifestyle Estate all include two or three bedrooms, one to three bathrooms, open-plan kitchens with access to a yard, large lounge/dining areas, solar geysers, a covered patio with 1200 mm undercover braai and landscaped garden, and access to high-speed internet. They feature an airy interior design, top-quality finishes and the convenience of being pet-friendly.
Adds Roos: “The intention is to offer buyers – and now also tenants – unbeatable value in terms of cost per square metre, paired with a remarkable retirement lifestyle. The most expensive home within the estate to date sold for more than R5.6 million, demonstrating Zevenwacht’s popularity. We will gladly assist those buyers who wish to go one step further to design and finish their own homes.
“All residents can enjoy peace of mind during their best years, with excellent security, and healthcare services available as and when needed by Medwell SA. Tailor-made home-based care is paid for only as and when you require it. This has allowed us to keep our levies very affordable.”
The estate offers fully comprehensive manned access control and a clubhouse, with access to the Zevenwacht Estate with its array of amenities at special rates, and the development is fully landscaped.
